Yes, It was real and you could feel it's vibrations in your body all through the night. It was a dream come true. After so many years living and creating in a depressing and oppressing situation in Iran!, the Iranian underground and alternative music just got uploaded from the Internet to reality, only in an other country!!. And let me tell you all, it was not only a live show but a new hope for those young musicians in Iran that can't get to play and perform their music freely. Last month was the worse period for or musicians because all the underground shows where cancelled and some music shop's got banned. After that, a lot of musicians closed their web sits and went under the underground. Yes, They got shut down!.

That is why this festival was so important for all of us.This is a movement that about 4 years ago www.tehranavenue.com gave an identity to it by starting the first Iranian underground music competition "UMC" on Internet and took the first giant step on creating a scene that was and still lives it's own life on Internet. This is still a music scene that is forbidden and banned in our country. How ever, nothing has been able to stop our youth needs for enjoying and expressing them selves through music and even with all that pressures that they are feeling, nothing has stopped them yet!.

Last night was the night that we celebrated the fact that we are all free to play the music that we choose to play. It was a night to remember, a night full of hope for the future. Enough hope to believe in our selves as a nation with a progressive culture and a night to enjoy the power of our young rebellion and soulful music. An unforgettable night of sounds and lights, passion and technicality, words and melodies, soulful and conceptual art music, rebellion and poetic, beats and guitars. It was definitely a REVOLUTION and a event that broth us together!

Let's say no more than that; I am desperately looking forward for the next Iranian alternative music festival.

Let's just hope that one day we will all gather in one place in the first Iranian alternative music festival inside of Iran, where the music isn't forbidden, concerts wont get cancelled or banned. This is what this fantastic festival gave us all, "HOPE FOR THE FUTURE", and we are all thankful for that.
